Dent Repair in Stratford, ON
Dents happen — in parking lots, from road debris, or from minor impacts. Back Corner Studios handles dent repair and panel straightening at our Stratford shop, assessing each dent individually to determine the right approach.
What Dent Repair Involves
Dent repair is the process of restoring a panel that's been pushed in, creased, or otherwise deformed. Depending on the dent, that can involve panel straightening, metal work, and — when the paint is damaged — refinishing to restore the surface.
Not Every Dent Is the Same
Dents vary in size, depth, location, and whether the paint is cracked or stretched. Those factors determine whether a dent can be repaired and what method makes sense. We assess each dent individually rather than assuming one approach fits all.
We don't claim that every dent qualifies for paintless dent repair. Some dents are better suited to traditional repair and refinishing, and we'll explain why based on what we see on your vehicle.
Preserving Original Panels
When a dent can be repaired without compromising the panel, we prefer to preserve the original panel rather than replace it. Keeping the factory panel helps maintain the vehicle's original construction. When repair isn't appropriate, we'll tell you and discuss replacement.
Corrosion Protection
When dent repair involves metal work, we restore factory corrosion-protection coatings where applicable. Bare metal left uncoated can rust over time, so protecting the repaired area is part of doing the job properly.
When to Bring It In
If you have a dent — whether it's a small door ding or a larger crease — submit an estimate request through our Estimate & Booking Form. We'll look at it, explain whether it can be repaired, and walk you through the options.
