Collision Repair in Stratford, ON
If your vehicle has been in an accident, Back Corner Studios handles the full repair — from assessing the damage to restoring the body, panels, and finish. We're a family-owned shop in Stratford that takes a quality-first approach to every collision repair.
What Collision Repair Covers
Collision repair is the process of restoring a vehicle after an accident. The scope can range from a minor parking-lot impact to significant structural damage. At our Stratford shop, a typical collision repair may involve body and panel repair or replacement, bumper repair, structural and alignment work, and paint and refinishing to bring the repaired areas back in line with the rest of the vehicle.
Types of Damage We Address
- •Body and panel damage from front, rear, and side impacts
- •Bumper damage, including cracked or scuffed bumper covers
- •Structural concerns that require measuring and alignment
- •Paint and refinishing needed after panel repair or replacement
- •Replacement components when a panel cannot be safely repaired
Our OEM + Collision Repair Philosophy
Back Corner Studios follows an OEM + collision repair philosophy. When OEM parts are used, we follow the appropriate OEM repair procedures rather than taking shortcuts. We consider proper OEM repair information when it applies, and we take repair procedures seriously because they directly affect how the vehicle looks, fits together, and performs after the repair.
We're not a high-volume production shop. Our team takes the time necessary to carefully complete each repair to both the customer's standards and our own. That means our cycle time can sometimes be slower than a high-throughput shop — we prioritize meticulous workmanship over simply moving vehicles through quickly.
What to Consider Before Choosing a Shop
After an accident, it helps to ask how a shop approaches repair procedures, what parts will be used, and how the finish will be matched to the rest of the vehicle. A clear, honest conversation up front sets expectations for the repair and the timeline. We're happy to walk through that with you.
